Planning your trip..

Doricmorr is a four bedroomed detached bungalow situated on the beach in the hamlet of Cordon, just outside the village of Lamlash, on the Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland.  IT IS A NON-SMOKING HOUSE.

Looking back toward Doricmorr from the Bay.

The house is bounded on one side by the Monamore Burn, and the front of the house lies on the shoreline of Lamlash Bay. The house overlooks Holy Isle, and the views both during the day, and at night are quite spectacular.

Can you spot Jilly with Oscar the dog?

The house is available on a unique type of let, allowing guests to make the most of their time in the house to ensure that they can truly relax and feel at home in this wonderful setting.
Bookings start at 1345 and finish at 1300, which fits in perfectly with the
Caledonian MacBrayne ferry timetable, and allows guests a full afternoon in the house on the day of arrival, and a full morning on the day of departure. It also allows our caretakers time to check the property between bookings.

During recent summer months, the Paddle Steamer "Waverly" was a frequent visitor to the bay, and many guests have enjoyed a wee jig in the garden as the music floats in with the tide!

Night-time on Arran is arguably the most relaxing time of the day. Secure in the knowledge that the last ferry has long since tied-up, you are now free to sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the fabulous night skies that only an island can offer.....
